On the Sunday 30th June 2024, St Johns will be holding our annual Greek Festival at Redlynch as a community event.

The event is held in the picturesque gardens with the Byzantine church in the background.

People from the local community and regional areas attending, enjoying the Greek food and sweets, Bouzouki popular musical instrument of Greece, dancing and children’s activities. Plus Zorba lessons, plate smashing, cooking session, honey puff eating and olive spitting competitions, Belly Dancing, and church tours.

This year we have Mihali Georgeou and Nick Paras Bouzouki players (major popular music instrument of Greece), Phillip Vakos cooking demo and the Brisbane Cypriot Dance Group included in our entertainment program. Monies raised go towards purchasing resources needed for families and clients of St John’s.
