Join us to celebrate the launch of Friends of Himalayan Children Founder Som Tamang’s biography “Himalayan Dreams: The Story of Som Tamang” written by award-winning former ABC journalist Kirsty Nancarrow.

Enjoy a delicious 2 course set meal, music, raffles and discussions with Kirsty and Som.

Proceeds from this event will support Friends of Himalayan Children’s work in Batase and help realise Som’s dream of extending Batase School in Nepal to Grade 12.

The evening includes the launch of The Friends of Himalayan Children Nepal RAWCS Project (Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd), an initiative of the Rotary Club of Cairns Sunrise.

Donations to this project are tax deductible and will go towards teacher and student accommodation.
