A 25-year-old security officer has been seriously assaulted at a Cairns City venue.
Police are calling for public information into the incident which occurred around around 8.00pm at a Pier Point Road venue on July 20.
Police say the victim was seriously assaulted by a group of people after he asked a man to leave the premises due to his behavior.

The 25-year-old man was punched, scratched and bitten during the assault.
Police believe the people featured in the below images may be able to assist with investigations.
