A man has allegedly been stabbed by a boy on a bus in Cairns.
Around 6pm yesterday, a man intervened in an argument between a bus driver and two teenagers whilst the bus was stopped on Lake Street.
One of the teenagers is accused of then stabbing the man in the stomach when he took a seat.
The teenagers fled the bus, while the victim was taken to Cairns Hospital for treatment of a minor laceration.
Cairns dog squad tracked the teens to a Parramatta Park home, where they were arrested a short time later.
The 13-year-old Bentley Park boy has been charged with one count each of wounding and common assault.
His bail was refused and he will appear at Cairns Childrens Court.
