A public appeal has been issued for a woman missing from Cairns for nearly a week.
Sarah Ashworth lives in Cooktown, however she travelled to Cairns on May 6.
She has had phone contact with a friend on Thursday, May 11, and has not contacted family since.

The 44-year-old is described as Caucasian, 160cm tall with a slim build, brown hair and hazel eyes.
She is travelling in her silver 2000 Hyundai Accent with Queensland registration 865FWN.
Police and family hold concerns for her safety and are appealing for anyone who has seen her, the car or has further information to contact police.
