Police say five kids have been involved in a stolen car crash in Oonoonba.
A silver Havel allegedly crashed into two parked vehicles at the corner of O’Donnell and Findlater Streets around 4am on Friday.
The Havel suffered extensive damage, while a Holden Rodeo utility and a Mitsubishi Pajero both have minor damage.
A 12-year-old boy was taken into custody at the scene without incident, while four other youths allegedly ran off into bushland.
They were arrested a short time later with assistance from the dog squad.
All of the children sustained minor injuries in the crash, with Queensland Ambulance Service taking four people to Townsville University Hospital in stable conditions.
Investigations remain ongoing regarding the theft of the vehicle from a nearby Keenan Street address overnight.
