A man accused of snatching a woman’s handbag in Earlville has been arrested.
It’s alleged the 19-year-old grabbed the 49-year-old victim’s handbag in the underground carpark of an Earlville shopping centre around 6pm Tuesday.
Police say the woman was knocked to the ground during the robbery.

Investigations led police to a McEwen Street residence where the man was taken into custody.
He has been charged with one count each of stealing from the person, common assault, possessing dangerous drugs and enter premises and commit and two counts of attempted enter dwelling.
His bail was denied and will appear in Cairns Magistrates Court today.
