Woman Stabs Three Men And A Teen At A Party, Westcourt

A woman is accused of stabbing four partygoers with a knife in Westcourt.  

The 23-year-old allegedly went to a home in Brophy Street Westcourt at about 12.30AM on Thursday to collect personal belongings, however was turned away by residents and guests at a party.

It’s alleged the woman returned to her home nearby and grabbed a knife before returning to the Brophy Street home.

She reportedly got into a  verbal and physical fight with a group.

Police alleged the woman stabbed three men and one boy with the knife.

A 26-year-old Earlville man sustained a cut to his head, a 19-year-old Brinsmead man sustained a cut to his back, an 18-year-old Earlville man sustained a puncture wound to his neck and a 16-year-old Mooroobool boy sustained cuts to his arm.

All four were taken to Cairns Hospital.

The woman will front the Cairns Magistrates Court on Thursday.
