Boy Assaulted With Chisel, Edmonton
A boy has been assaulted with a chisel in Edmonton.
Two Edmonton boys aged 12 and 13 are accused of assaulting a 13-year-old Edmonton boy near the corner of Petersen Road and Denmark Road Edmonton on Wednesday February 5.
Police allege the boys armed with a knife and chisel threatened the boy and demanded he give them his shoes.
The two boys assaulted the other boy in a physical altercation that went to ground.
The 13-year-old boy sustained abrasions to his elbow and knee and two superficial puncture wounds to his back. The boy was not conveyed to hospital however it was advised he seek medical treatment for his injuries.
It’s further alleged the chisel was stolen from an educational facility.
The 13-year-old Edmonton boy was charged with one count each of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and in company and stealing, whilst the 12-year-old Edmonton boy was charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed and in company.
They have been dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
