Break and enter charges, Cairns City

A 40-year-old Cairns North man has been charged after he allegedly forced entry to an Abbott Street Hotel and stole computer accessories, alcohol, a mobile phone and clothing sometime after 8am on September 22.

It will be further alleged the male forced entry to a storeroom at a Pier Point Rd hotel at around 4am on September 24 where he allegedly stole alcohol, radios and a mobile phone.

A 36-year-old Cairns North man has also been charged over the Pier Point Rd break-in.

The 40-year-man was charged with five counts of entering a premises.

Following the execution of a search warrant at a Cairns North address on Sunday, he was further charged with other matters including; burglary, contravening a domestic violence order, producing dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug utensils.

He is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday.
