Cairns Crime Stoppers In Action

Crime Stoppers has thanked the public for its support last year, claiming intelligence led to eight million dollars in illegal drugs being taken off the streets.
 
Cairns people helped solve crimes - calling in more than 1500 times with information.
 
Crimestoppers C.E.O. Trevor O'Hara says while that's fewer calls than last year, the results show people are still feeling comfortable reporting via the phone and online tools and are willing to help us build a safer community.
