Boys, 13 and 15, charged for armed robbery

Two young boys have been charged with armed robbery after allegedly holding up a driver in a Brisbane car park.

Police say the boys, aged 13 and 15, held up the man in the Sunnybank Hills shopping centre car park as he was reversing his car about 6.30pm on Thursday.

They allegedly threatened him with a knife and robbed him of money. The pair had demanded the car keys but left without them.

On Saturday, police charged the two from Kingston with a total of 14 charges. The 15-year-old boy has been charged with robbery in company, attempted robbery, enter premises, unlawful entry of a vehicle, possess tainted property, possess drug utensils and two counts of obstruct police.

The 13-year-old boy has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place, armed robbery, attempted robbery, enter premises, unlawful entry of a vehicle and possess tainted property.
