Feud With Roc Nation Heats Up
According to Nicki, Roc Nation wanted her to do a new album and go on tour, but she turned them down. “They came BEGGING the QUEEN… and I said NOPE,” she wrote, tagging Jay-Z. She added that her fanbase, the Barbz, supported her decision.
Later, she posted again, saying, “Ok, I’m not going to put out the album anymore. No more music. Hope you’re happy now @sc. Bye, Barbz. Love you for life.”
Fans React With Concern
The Barbz were heartbroken. Some begged her to return, while others urged her to take a break from social media and focus on healing.

Unclear Music Ties
Though Nicki is signed to Republic Records, she’s been in a long-standing feud with Roc Nation. Tensions grew after claims that they tried to silence her online.
Her last album, Pink Friday 2, was a major success, debuting at No. 1 in December 2023.
