A 46-year-old man has been arrested at Gordonvale following an alleged vehicle theft.
Officers followed a reportedly stolen Toyota Corolla to a Gordonvale service station just after 7.00pm last night where he was apprehended.

A search of the man allegedly revealed he had in his possession a quantity of methylamphetamine, associated paraphernalia and a knife.
He has been charged with one count each of unlawful use of motor vehicle, possess dangerous drugs, possess drug utensils and possess knife in public.
He is due to appear before the Cairns Magistrates Court on December 11.
