Police are continuing to investigate a fatal crash at Kewarra Beach, with a report now being prepared for the coroner after a man died yesterday morning.
Emergency services were called just after 9.30am to the intersection of Poolwood Road, Edge Close and Kewarra Street, where a Mazda CX‑3 had collided with a building. The driver and sole occupant, a 76‑year‑old Trinity Beach man, was declared deceased at the scene.
Detectives are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash, and police are urging anyone with information or relevant dashcam vision to come forward as investigations continue.
