This high-profile event will be held at the Fred Moule Pavilion at the Cairns Showgrounds on Thursday, 4th June 2026.

Event Opening Times: 8:30 am to 3.30 pm

The Expo brings together a vast range of education and career providers to inspire our community and high school students with their decision-making. Our exhibitors consist of a large cross-section of vocational providers, apprenticeship and traineeship providers, strong industry representation, and tertiary/university institutions who will be there to answer all your questions.

This Expo is the only event of its kind in Far North Queensland — and it is also open to the general public, parents, job seekers, and those looking for information on a career change. We welcome you to come along.

The majority of schools will be on-site in the morning, so we suggest that the public attend between 1:00 pm and 3.30 pm to make the most of their time without having to compete with over 1,000 students at any one time. The expo attracts over 5000 attendees on the day!

The BLA is a not-for-profit organisation that has forged strong working relationships with all secondary schools in the region and provides secondary students with relevant, up to date knowledge, skills and resources to meet the current and evolving scope of the business community.
