Star 102.7 is proud to continue its partnership with one of Far North Queensland’s most iconic sporting events, the 7 Cairns Marathon Festival.

The 7 Cairns Marathon Festival is a major community and sporting event on the Cairns calendar, attracting runners of all ages and abilities to the stunning Cairns Esplanade. With events ranging from the 2km Family Dash through to the 10km, Half Marathon and full 42.2km Marathon, the festival celebrates health, fitness and community participation in one of Australia’s most spectacular locations.

Held annually in Cairns, the event brings together locals, interstate competitors and visitors, creating an atmosphere that showcases the very best of our region while encouraging people to get active and get involved. The marathon festival also has a strong community focus, supporting charitable causes and local organisations through participation and fundraising.
