The Benevolent Society, in partnership with Wuchopperen Health Service, Mission Australia Communities for Children & Cairns Regional Council, are holding a Neighbourhood Day on the 2nd week of the Easter School Holidays (16th April 2025). This is a FREE, Family friendly EVENT! When: Wednesday 16th April 9am – 12pm Where: Norman Park (surrounding the Pavilion and under the shade trees) The purpose of the event is to provide the opportunity for those living in Gordonvale and the surrounding suburbs to meet local services that provide support to the community and promote positive community well-being. There will be many local organisations and businesses involved, including Stall Holders with fun activities for children & Musical performances throughout the morning to keep everyone entertained! There is also a Scavenger Hunt that people can enter to go into the draw to win some wonderful prizes. They will also be providing a FREE Sausage Sizzle – so head on down and see what the beautiful Gordonvale community has on offer.
