It’s the most spectacular night of the year – and you’re invited!

The Cairns Festival Grand Parade & Fireworks is back to light up the Esplanade in a tropical technicolour explosion of music, magic, and community spirit. Expect dancing queens, dazzling floats, giant puppets, marching bands, and more local legends than you can poke a palm frond at.

It all kicks off at 5.30PM with the Grand Parade winding its fabulous way along the Esplanade, followed by a jaw-dropping fireworks finale over the water from 7.30PM. Bring a picnic rug, your loudest cheer, and your inner show pony – this is a Cairns moment you won’t want to miss.

Free, family-friendly and full of feel-good vibes – this is the heart of Cairns Festival.

Please note: Road Closures will be in place and please allow for traffic delays after 4pm.
Parking is extremely limited in the Cairns CBD on parade day.  Carpooling and using public transport is strongly recommended.
