Join us in the Fun Ship Parkland for this year’s Cairns Walk to Remember, a beautiful opportunity to love and connect, to honour and remember the babies and children who are no longer with us.
Meet at 8:30am for a 9am start. The Walk to Remember is a long-running annual event in the Sands, and now Red Nose, community.
The formal remembrance service includes readings and reflections from local bereaved families, an opportunity for guests to publicly share the name of the little one/s they are remembering, a shared time of reflection and remembrance in our Pinwheel Ceremony and of course the symbolic Walk to Remember itself – taking the footsteps our babies could not.
Please bring your water bottle, hat and mosquito repellent.
The Walk to Remember is a tradition that is linked to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day/Month.
We invite all bereaved Red Nose families to come along and remember their little ones, recognising that we have all experienced loss and that all our babies and children have missed out on very important steps with their families.
