Woree State School invites you to participate in our 12th Annual Pink Shirt Day on Friday 9th June 2023. Pink Shirt Day is anti-bullying messaging focused on replacement behaviours such as kindness and being nice. We have in place a number of strategies leading up to Pink Shirt Day, one of which is our campaign where we invite businesses, organisations, homes and the wider community to join with us to go Pink for the day with related messages promoting positive behaviours towards others. We invite you to take photos and email them to us info@woreess.eq.edu.au for sharing to our school Facebook and Instagram pages, thus promoting those who join with us against bullying and promoting replacement behaviours, this year’s theme being ‘Lift Each Other Up’. Turn your business, organisation or home PINK on Friday 9th June to show your support for our 2023 Pink Shirt Day. Please email photos and the name of your organisation to: info@woreess.eq.edu.au or send via Facebook Messenger or tag us #woree_state_school and #WoreePinkShirtDay and we will then share your photos on our social media pages to acknowledge your support. You are welcome to like and follow the Pink Shirt Day photos on our Facebook https://www.facebook.com/WoreeSS/ and Instagram page #woree_state_school HELP US PAINT CAIRNS PINK.
