CALENDAR OF EVENTS

• Friday, August 21 – Carnival Launch (Reef Hotel Casino) Kick off the Carnival of Colour with an exclusive evening of entertainment, premium beverages, and special carnival announcements.

• Saturday, August 22 – Great Northern Brewing Co. Cairns Amateurs Day (Ladbrokes Cannon Park) Experience the fun and thrills of the historic Cairns Amateur Cup with 8 races including the Great Northern Brewing Co. Cairns Amateur Cup, Ladbrokes Cairns Amateur Sprint, and Magic Millions Daintree Guineas.

• Thursday, August 27 – Ladbrokes Sportsman Luncheon & Calcutta (President’s Lounge – Ladbrokes Cannon Park) The carnival’s premier corporate entertainment event featuring champion jockeys, renowned trainers, live Cairns Cup barrier draw, and the traditional Calcutta auction.

• Friday, August 28 – Ladbrokes Cairns Newmarket Ladies Day (Ladbrokes Cannon Park) Far North Queensland’s most glamorous racing day featuring 8 races and the exclusive Ladies Long Lunch in the Silks Pavilion.

• Saturday, August 29 – Red Beret Hotel Cairns Cup Day (Ladbrokes Cannon Park) The spectacular finale featuring the region’s richest and most prestigious race – the 2026 edition of the Red Beret Hotel Cairns Cup.
