An accused teenage car thief will face the Cairns Children’s Court today.
The 15-year-old Edmonton boy has been charged over his alleged involvement in two vehicle thefts this month.
Police say the boy was part of a group that stole a Ford Everest from an Edmonton address in the early hours of April 14.

It will also be alleged the boy was part of a group that was involved with a Suzuki Swift reported stolen from a Rennel Close address on April 12.
He is facing two counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle.
