The Marlin Marina in Cairns will be the home base for three superyachts, with the arrival of the Morris Nautical’s M.Y. Northern Escape, M.Y Flying Fish and M.Y Beluga.
Morris Nautical CEO Sam Aldred said Cairns was a no brainer to bring the fleet to the tropical far north after three successful seasons in the Mediterranean. With manager of Superyachts Great Barrier Reef Jodie Growden claiming the arrival of Morris Nautical Fleet would have long lasting benefits to the local economy.
In the past six months, the superyacht industry has generated $31.9 million for the Far North Queensland economy.
The 32 meter Flying Fish and 35 meter Beluga, along with the Northern Escape will be available for bespoke charters, to remote islands and dive sites.
