The Cowboys have wrapped up their 2025 season – with a narrow defeat, 38-30, against the Broncos at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville.

Bronco’s star Reece Walsh hammered the nail in the coffin for the Cowboys, scoring a try right on half-time and creating many opportunities for the Queensland rival side throughout the game- launching Brisbane into the top four.

With a bye in the final round of the NRL they will not be playing finals footy this year, marking the final game for Jordan McLean who finished up with the Cowboys and will now retire from NRL.
