A man has been rescued from a popular swimming spot after falling and injuring his head.
Emergency services were called to Josephine Falls at Bartle Frere around 2.20pm yesterday.
The man had slipped on rocks and hit his head. Crews managed to get him to safety and transport him to Cairns Hospital stable.
