A 44 year-old Gordonvale man has been charged after attempting to break into several vehicles at Earlville.
Early on Saturday morning it’s alleged the man was trying to get inside vehicles at a Mulgrave road motel carpark.
The offender was observed by an owner of one of the vehicles, who called police.

When arrested the man was allegedly found to have implements used to pick locks in his possession, and several stolen credit cards.
The man has been charged with two counts of attempted enter premises and one count each of possess thing intended for use and possess suspected stolen property.
He is due to appear before Cairns Magistrates Court March 5.
