Woman rescued after becoming stranded in Mulgrave River

A woman has been rescued after spending the night stranded in the Mulgrave River at Goldsborough.

Multiple emergency services were call to the scene around 7am today, finding the woman on an island near Fisheries Bridge along Goldsborough Road.

Water rescue teams managed to save the woman who had been there since midnight.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson says the woman was treated at the scene and was in a stable condition with no injuries.
