Two Feet And A Heartbeat Charity Walk

 This year marks our 10 year anniversary for Two Feet and A Heartbeat walk. On Sunday 13th of October 2024 from 3pm till 7pm, Heart Kids will hold their annual 4km Two Feet And A Heartbeat Charity Walk in honour of the four lives lost each week to congenital heart disease.

1 in 100 babies are born with congenital heart disease (CHD) every day in Australia

CHD is the leading cause of death in infants under 12 months old

There is no known cure for CHD

8 babies are born with CHD every day

300 families in Cairns Region are directly impacted by CHD

Funds raised from the Two Feet And a Heartbeat Charity Walk will help continue and expand in-hospital and out-of-hospital support programs, ensuring that all heart kids and their families are supported throughout their lifelong journey and fund vital medical research into this chronic disease.
