A woman’s body has been found in a search and rescue operation in the Mulgrave River at Goldsborough.
Police say a 28-year-old woman had been kayaking with a man and a boy, when she fell in and failed to resurface, at around 3.00pm yesterday.
A search was immediately launched, involving police, Water Police, police drones, and Queensland Fire and Rescue swiftwater rescue crews.

The woman was located deceased about 5pm.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
