Police have launched a search and rescue operation at a popular Tablelands waterfall, after a 47-year-old Malanda man has been reported missing.
The man was last seen at Windin Falls on Sunday and was reported missing at 6.00pm on Monday, when he did not return home.
A search and rescue operation involving police, State Emergency Service personnel, ATVs and the Cairns-based Rescue 510 helicopter was launched yesterday morning.

The man was last seen wearing boots, a fluoro orange waterproof jacket, long pants and was carrying a bag.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
