A 16-year-old boy has been charged with 38 property-related offences, allegedly committed across the Cairns region.
Police allege the boy committed break-ins of homes and businesses, drove stolen vehicles while he was intoxicated and caused damage to property between, June 9 and July 18.
His charges include nine counts of enter dwelling, four counts of unlawful use of motor vehicle and four counts of wilful damage.

He has been dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
